Zuzana Kocúriková was born in Bratislave. She graduated from the Academy of Performing Arts in 1971. At the same time, she was engaged to the ensemble of the SND Drama Theatre, of which she has been a member ever since. She had appeared on the stage a year earlier, in 1970, when she played the character of Cilka in the production of The Beggar's Adventure.

In the same year, however, she also performed at the Theatre on the Promenade. She has appeared as a guest and continues to appear in theatres such as New Stage Theatre, Theatre Arena, P. O. Hviezdoslav Municipal Theatre, Studio L + S or The Comedy Theatre. In addition to the theatre, however, she is active as an actress in movies and TV. She has appeared in more than a hundred television series and films.
